Notes from the studio: July

Hello lovelies, it’s been a mixture of gratitude and excitement this month as July saw all pre-ordered apparel get delivered from our very first apparel launch! I can’t thank you all enough for shopping the new shirts and sharing the launch with your friends.

Whilst I’m still basking in the fuzzy feelings of a successful product launch, my creativity is already itching for more. I have the next apparel collection brewing in my mind - how do we feel about a celestial theme?

I’m playing with shooting stars and crescent moons, channeling cosmic magic and the feminine divine. This theme brings to mind a quote I love from Neil deGrasse Tyson, he says, “there’s as many atoms in a single molecule of your DNA as there are stars in the typical galaxy. We are, each of us, a little universe”.

We’re all so enchantingly intricate with such depth to our selves. With this, plus the thought that femininity feels ethereal to me, in mind, I hope to capture this essence in the next series of Femme Vivante illustrations.
